Born of an ancient civilization, Cairo is a vast metropolis centered around the Nile. Its sheer scale can feel overwhelming (especially when flying over Cairo Airport), so plan ahead. An obvious starting point are the Giza Pyramids. Although the pharaohs are long gone, the grandeur of their burial pyramids, the Sphinx and Solar Boat are testament to their ambition.
The city’s Egyptian Museum houses a dazzling display of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including finds from Tutankhamen's tomb in Luxor. Around the corner is Tahrir, a huge square and focal point of the 2011 Egyptian Revolution.
East is Islamic Cairo, home to the 9th-century Ibn Tulun Mosque, Al-Azhar Mosque (site of the world’s oldest university), and the Khan el-Khalili souk (remember to haggle). The Citadel, with its elegant Mohammed Ali Pasha Mosque, sits on a hill offering far-reaching city views.
If you need a break from cultural tours, take a Nile cruise by felucca, spot wildlife in Wadi Digla desert park or visit Egypt’s top theme parks: Dream Park and Magic Land, where you can tour Egyptian TV studios.
Before heading to your Cairo accommodations, sample the local cuisine – the falafel and fuul (bean paste) are delicious. Coffee is a staple and there are hundreds of shisha bars, while major Cairo hotels have bars serving alcohol.
A must visit cultural heritage. A lot of history associated.
A must visit cultural heritage. A lot of history associated. People are nice at heart. Pyramids of Giza and the Spinx are the highlights. A number of beautiful mosques, amazing and magnificent museums. Should also visit the markets and the beautiful Nile River. Cairo has so much to offer.

To see the best of Giza and Cairo we would definitely recommend a local guide and driver. They can navigate the busy road system there, and will know all of the best places to visit and eat. The only thing we would avoid next time is exchanging our money to Egyptian pounds... it is better to either use dollars or euros.

Cairo is a must see place, This hotel layout is nice with cottages, but rooms look old and bathrooms need a complete makeover, worn out look, tap in the tub had a leak. House keeping was not up to the mark as they forgot to place coffee and tea sachets. On requesting, it took 2 hours to reach the room. No mini refrigerator in the room. Needs more power plugs for charging devices. Something needs to be done for the mosquitos there after sunset. I stayed in Jaz group hotel in Cairo and Sharm. Both places need to revise their menu to add more international/asian stuff.

Cairo is notoriously chaotic, and has the traffic and noise issues to prove it. But still a splendid place to explore Egyptian history and culture, with iconic landmarks like the Pyramids of Giza and the Nile River. The Egyptian Museum is a must-visit destination when in Cairo, but needs more care and structure update, most of its archaeological treasures are just there displayed without proper care, it was a bit disappointed. The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization is a new museum, covering all the different historical periods that encompass Egypt's history and is where the royal mummies are located now. Khan El Khalili Bazaar has a vibrant energy and is an important district for both cultural and economic activity, but be prepared to be harassed by the vendors who may follow you trying to convince to buy in his shop. You can’t go to Cairo and not see the Pyramids of Giza, it's a very popular destination and always busy. You can do it by yourself or hiring a guide. I walked around by myself and it was great since we did in our time and speed, also be prepare to be approached many times for camel or horse rides. Often referred to as the cradle of civilization, Cairo is a trip worth taking once.

The accommodation was perfect.
The accommodation was perfect. The room was very nice, clean, and well-ventilated. I will recommend this property to anyone who would like to visit Cairo. I plan to visit Cairo with my family. I will make the booking for this accommodation.
The view of the pyramids. It has the best view and probably the closest view to the pyramids and the gates of the entrance of the pyramids are probably 50m away . Outside the gates of property is little dusty but that normal because you walking to the pyramids. Mohammed replies quick and is super helpful. Theres another Mohammed who works for him and I asked him about restaurants close by and he walked me directly to the restaurant. Honestly service was better than the 5 star hotels I stayed at . If I come back I’ll definitely stay here
Simple and uncomplicated guest house walking distance away from a wonder of the world.
They allow early check in if you communicate with them and will also arrange a taxi from Cairo Airport at an extra cost.
Rooms are small but clean, private bathroom, but don't expect 5 star hotel standards.
Host is helpful and there is a museum and gift shop downstairs.
Breakfast is served on the balcony from which you can look at the pyramids - that view is a winner, despite the poor state of adjacent buildings and the squalor of the area.
I chose Radisson because it's so close to the airport (I arrived late and didn't want to drive on at night). The interior design (lobby with "open" patio, rooms etc.) was very attractive and fully correspond with the 4-5 star rating of the hotel. The selection of dishes for breakfast was also very good (except for the missing orange juice).
Upon check out with the quality manager (by chance), she was really interested in learning what they could do to improve in my rating (I said I would give an 8 of 10).
This is a good value, centrally located hotel in Cairo. It's old and some parts are undergoing renovation, but the rooms and breakfast area are in great shape and everything works. It's quiet at night and the wifi was fine. The staff are helpful and friendly, and arranged an airport transfer for us. Breakfast was good and alternated between European style and Egyptian style. It's about 10 minutes walk to several different Metro stations. Lots of restaurants and several ATMs nearby.
Very good value for monry. Brand new hotel. Rooms like 5 stars design hotel.
Beds very comfortable. View from the pool and restaurant is breathtaking.
Food very good and tasty. Lots of fruits for breakfast. Smoothies amazing, burger as well.
Staff is so helpful. I left my passport on the airport late at night, they comforted me and called the airport in the morning. Staff is the best from front office to housekeeping and waiters.
Keep good job dear people.
We had connecting rooms with a kitchen/living space in the middle - perfect for our family of 5. The location was perfect! We could easily walk to the Egyptian Museum, many restaurants and shops nearby and easy to catch taxis when needed. There’s also a small shop right next to hotel with bottled water and snacks. Beds were comfortable, staff helpful, breakfast pretty good and they could arrange a van to take us to airport (additional cost).
The location is excellent, right in front of the Egyptian Museum. All the staff is incredibly nice and friendly. The rooms are really clean and spacious. The hotel offered us tour options but wasn’t pushy about it. We decided to explore the city on our own with Uber (definitely the best option: super cheap and safe) and they even helped us print our train tickets and let us use a clean bathroom and Wi-Fi for hours after our check out
The hotel is located in downtown Cairo, amazing location and close by to most tourist attractions. the staffs are polite, the guest relations manager Nevine was an absolute delight, she made sure our stay was comfortable. Our first room had some problems so she upgraded us to a better room. The hotel has many restuarants and its own shopping complex, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, spa….overall one of the best 5 stars.
Best hotel ever, I have stayed in many other hotels and I did not find the comfort, security and good service I found in this hotel, it deserves more than 5 stars! The location is excellent, as the wonderful view of the pyramids of Giza directly from the room and the statue of the Sphinx, and I thank all those who helped me in this place, and finally the cleanliness of the rooms is great❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The first time I visited Egypt and I was very lucky (this hotel is clean and the service is amazing and the people who work there are always trying to help. I did tourist tours in Giza and Alexandria and they were amazing at a very good price. Many thanks to Mr. Khudari who arranged everything for us and who is one of the best people we know In Egypt, many people thanked him for everything
Great hotel with amazing view to Ancient Egyptian civilization, pyramids and sphinx
Very clean rooms with basic facilities great hospitality from the staff starting from the owners to all staff.
All you need around you by walking in hotel area ( Restaurants, Supermarkets, Pharmacies , Bazaars and more)
Thanks Mamlouk staff and definitely I will back again IsA.
The hotel and guestrooms are beautifully decorated and the bed is really comfortable. There is a great showerhead with hot water for the best showers I've had in Egypt. In the morning, I was treated to a delicious Egyptian breakfast. This was a comfortable place for me to land in Cairo before carrying on with the rest of my trip.
OK so for Egypt this is expensive and a long way out of Cairo, but we wanted a place to decompress after our trip that was close to the airport and you don't get any closer...
Fantastic hotel very clean modern, American 5 star feel. The pool was great and just what we needed
The view is just incredible and the best you can book close to the pyramids. It is really comfortable but not comparable to a 5 star hotel (for example the furniture in the room.) But still it was 100% worth the money and the view from the room and the roof top is INCREDIBLE.
The best hotel we have ever stayed in. The hotel is located centrally, within walking distance to all the sites and restaurants we wanted to visit. The staff were friendly, helpful and kind. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Manager to the property excellent services.
Couple things were good: 1) The view from the terrace is great! Really beautiful, straight on the pyramids2) Staff is nice, 3) good restaurants close to the hotel. 4) Room was okay, comfortable for this price. I liked Egyptian breakfast, attached the photo.
The view!!! Friendly staff, especially Shad ❤️ Very clean. Tasty food! They have arranged for us airport transfer too. Many thanks! I guess if you are looking for the hotel with the best Pyramids view-this is the one!
Very nice room (suite) in a great location (Zamalek). Ahmed and the rest of the hotel staff were very friendly and made us feel truly welcome. Best hotel of our three weeks travel through Egypt.
This is one of the best places to stay in Egypt. There is a bunch of restaurants, lounges, bars and clubs and a mall inside or next to the hotel in which makes your stay convenient.
Make up from the airport to the hotel and the transfer back from the hotel to the airport with a very affordable price tours in all of our Egypt Giza Pyramids is in front of you
